Author: Mr. Highway Patrol’s son, Scott Fitzgerald, pumped himself up yesterday and announced to the kept media the “Democrats in the Senate cannot vote“! Well, they may vote but… He will handle the verbal paddle on those Fab 14 who drew ovations Saturday that Fitz can only dream about and will never receive unless his local country club honors him.
Fitzgerald said, and I am not making this up: “They are free to attend hearings, listen to testimony, debate legislation and may cast their votes but those votes will not count and will not be recorded.” One must conclude he is nuts! The nightmare continues.
A friend said, “Walker and Fitzgerald celebrated daylight savings time by setting back the clock 50 years.”
With Japan facing an unbelievable catastrophe, wouldn’t you think the political games in Washington over the debt ceiling would stop? Good lord, we may need trillions of dollars to help our ally. How does that fit the Tea Party agenda? Doesn’t.
