Author: A former state legislator who wasn’t given a staff job with the Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee filed a lawsuit Tuesday, claiming that she was not hired because she is a Republican.Only just recently I read something about how inappropriate it was for the courts to “intermeddle” in legislative procedure and how the legislature can make up or break up its own rules as it goes along.
