Author: Earlier today Republican attorney Jonathan Steitz announced his candidacy for the 22nd State Senate district seat currently held by Democratic State Sen. Bob Wirch. The press release announcing Steitz’s candidacy noted Steitz previously owned his own event management and production company, but curiously the press release did not mention the state tax warrants levied against Steitz.
Then again, the press release didn’t say Steitz was a successful businessman.
