First of all, Paul, because of a treasure trove of tax breaks and loopholes, the average billionaire pays about 17% of their income to Federal income taxes, while the average family in the U.S. pays about 21% of their income, so before we start talkin’ “redistribute,” maybe billionaires could start paying the same rate as the rest of us?!?

Second, Paul, the ONLY people benefiting in this economy is the wealthy.  The richest 1% are richer now than they’ve ever been in the history of United States, while the bottom 90% are in the worst shape they’ve been in since the great depression.  Isn’t it reasonable that the people that benefit the most in this economy should pay an amount in taxes that is proportionate to that benefit?
