Author: Remember the claim that the naughty demonstrators at the Capitol caused more than $7 million in damages to the building? That number was reduced because the first one was apparently only a guess. The revision was that the damage was less than $400,000 but that still seemed absurd.
Turns out there was very little damage. Now the Walker folks have announced that they won’t even set a price on repairs. My bet is the bill would be less than $2,500. Long way to get to $7 million! What did Walker gain with that fib? Let’s see: he fell for a fake caller identifying himself as a Koch brother; he put out an absurd total of damages when everyone knew it was a fabrication; and he will create 250,000 family supporting permanent jobs. And the Tooth Fairy will put a gold coin under your pillow, and don’t worry about stress tests ala Benton Harbor. Really?
ROYALTY IS BACK! So screamed one of the “journalists” commenting on the marriage in England. Royalty is back! Huzzah! Nonsense.
People are getting cranked for the recall elections. One cynic said, “You can’t remain angry for that long.” His prediction? One or two recalls. Let’s see. I think four or five will be recalled. As for Walker, he apparently wants to be considered for VP on the Republican ticket. Let us hope. Walker and Trump or Walker and Bachman. Yikes.
The Trump stuff is an appeal to racism. Sorry Donald, but you are fired.
